Hard to believe 2 months has gone by since Nathan joined our family. He's interacting more every day and we love trying to make him smile! We took some pictures to mark the 2-month age this morning and they turned out wonderfully. My friend Susan made the sweater he's wearing - I think the colour works well with the colour of his hair :) In a few of the photos you can see that his hair is really getting some red in it!

In stitching news, I've been plugging away at Village Skaters. I really want to get that one finished. I just have some snow and ice in the bottom right-hand corner of the piece and I'll be done. Nathan's been doing really well sleeping this week (8 or 9 hours every night) so I'm actually getting about an hour at night to stitch after he goes to bed. Yay! Now if we can only keep him on this schedule! I've cut caffeine out of my diet and it seems to be making a dramatic difference in his attitude and sleep schedule.
We don't have too many big plans for the weekend. We are celebrating my grandfather's birthday at the cottage on Sunday afternoon, but tomorrow plans to be a relaxing day. Yippee!
More photos are on flickr, as usual. I added pictures of Nathan's crib in the "Woodworking Projects" collection and lots more photos of Nathan in the "Family" collection as well as a set of pictures from my other grandfather's birthday party a few weeks ago.
