On the road again ...

Wow, long time! Nathan's awake more during the day than during his first month, so getting time to type with both hands has been tough. I don't mind typing with just one, but I'm very slow, and we have an overly sensitive touch pad on our laptop that makes it very frustrating at times.

Last week my sister was up to visit and help out. She was a huge help in taking care of Nathan and in helping me keep the house in order. She took some pictures of Nathan on our bed on Friday morning before she left. They turned out really well ...

I had my 6-week postnatal appointment yesterday and got the go-ahead to start exercising again, so I started a 12 week plan that will have me jogging for 40 minutes straight by the end of it. I haven't done much of anything in the way of exercising since I found out I was pregnant, so I'm easing into it slowly.

And now the best news of all ... Nathan has started sleeping through the night sporadically. He did it on Sunday night and again last night. Last night was the best as he went to sleep in his crib and stayed there all night from 11 until 6. I woke him at 6 to feed him before I went for my run, then put him back in his crib and he slept until after 9 this morning. Talk about refreshing! I'm taking hold of these moments of wonderful routine while they last.

Well, I should got play with Nathan for awhile as he's awake and relatively happy :)
