This is a picture I stitched for Nathan's nursery before he was even a twinkle in my eye ;) I started it when I was 18. I washed it this week and will hopefully get it framed and on the wall in the very near future

Today is Peter's first Father's Day, so we tried to make it special for him. I continued a tradition we always had growing up by cooking him breakfast in bed (with help from Nathan of course ;) ). We had also arranged to have Nathan's baby dedication at church today. He looked very handsome in his green outfit - it fit much better than it did when he was only a week old!

Peter and I both worked on the crib yesterday, although Peter did more work than I did. He finished sanding it and we worked together to get the first coat of finish on. It is so beautiful! I can't wait to set it up in the nursery.

Congratulations on the Dedication... what a nice happy family. That looks like one proud grandfather!
The crib is beautiful! How wonderful that you and the hubby can make your childs crib :)

All of your projects are looking great! I love the picture you stitched for the nursery.
Nathan looks very content with his grampie!
