If you want to figure out how many ways they can 'sneak' jump squats into a workout, just do Insanity's Plyometric Cardio Circuit DVD. Seriously - it's crazy! My legs are exhausted after that one.
I've tentatively decided to try to do the 60 day Insanity program (which isn't actually 60 days - argh). I'm not sure if I should ask them to up my food intake if I'm going to be doing the program. I guess I can ask about it at my next meeting on Saturday morning.
I'm also hoping to get a new meal plan for next week! I'm getting a bit bored of the current meal options. I'm also getting very bored of my veggie and fruit options. I'm going to have to expand my horizons on those types of foods.
The weirdest thing has been happening to me lately. I'm just not hungry sometimes when I'm supposed to eat. I'm eating so little, but I can't make myself eat some of my snacks. It is so out of character for me. That said, some days I would give almost anything for a carb-y snack in the evenings! I really miss my popcorn and arrow root cookies. I know - weird - but it's true. Those things are haunting me ;)
The nerves are finally getting better with teaching, so that feels good. They're starting to feel like 'my' kids. I gave a quiz to one class today (I'm a mean teacher - a quiz on the third day of classes!) and they did well. It's the first time I've ever given a formal assessment to students when I've been the one who taught them the material. I'm glad they didn't totally flop!!
Gotta get to bed ... I'll be glad to get the first week under my belt!
